I was born and raised in Dunedin.  I qualified from Auckland University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Optometry and then worked in Wellington for 2 years where I met my husband James.  We then moved to Oxfordshire, UK.   I worked there for 19 years, both for independent optometrists and for NHS England, chairing the Local Eye Health Network.  

We moved back in NZ and settled in Waiheke in 2018 and opened Island Eyes in 2020.

We have two amazing children and love living in beautiful Waiheke Island.   We love walking with our dog Molly and I play the violin.
